The apartment “Margherita” is located few metres far from the sandy beach
of Deiva Marina, small seaside Resort of the Eastern Italian Riviera und
very good starting point for a visit of the surroundings: from Cinque Terre
(Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore) to Portofino and Golfo
Paradiso (Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo), you can go everywhere using the
train, thanks to Deiva Marina railway station. Located only 300 metres from the
apartment.
Deiva Marina, a small town still on a human scale, is locates in a really
favourable position to discover the beauties of Liguria. The village completely
reflects the dualism that can be found in this region, where sea and land blend
to create a particular atmosphere.
The area in which the apartment
"Margherita"is situated is called by the inhabitants "La Marina", an area
where you can find cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, bathing establishments. Few
footsteps inland, and just after the station it is possible to perceive the
profile of the Parish Church of Sant'Antonio Abate, entrance to the old town.
A walk here can be particularly interesting, in order to discover underneath a
discreet aspect at first sight, an ancient beauty, made of stones that the
simple stories of this village between earth and sea tell.

Situated betSituated between the provinces of Genoa and La Spezia (Deiva
Marina belongs to it),
Deiva Marina shows both aspects characterizing these two areas: the wild
territory with rocks overlooking the sea, similar to the ones in the Cinque
Terre, and a nice sandy beach like the ones in the Tigullio area.
The town is divided into two parts: the old town, with its small roads called
“carruggi”, the Church of Sant’Antonio Abate dating back to the 18th Century,
the old sight tower defending the town from pirate raids, and the tourist area
called “la Marina”, with its seafront, shops, typical restaurants and the beach.
e A12 motorway exit, Deiva Marina is also a very good starting point to visit
the surrounding area. Few minutes by train, and Cinque Terre are at a short
distance.
